The Fork is thrilled to have Dana Cooke as our resident instructor. She will be available for lessons – here at The Fork as well as local barns – beginning in August.
Dana is from Merritt, British Columbia, Canada and has been riding since she could walk. She’s enjoyed many aspects of riding – both in and out of competition. Her resume includes: running poles and barrels in B.C. Little Britches Rodeo, the Canadian Pony Club where she is a graduate “A”, and has trained several horses. Dana’s love and passion however, is eventing.
Over the years, Dana has had the opportunity to train and clinic with some of the top names in the sport: Rebecca Howard, Stuart Black, Kyle Carter, Captain Mark Phillips, Leslie Law, David O’Connor and Silva Martin. They’ve helped her to accomplish many of her goals and become a confident rider and person. Dana also had the opportunity to groom for fellow Canadian, Rebecca Howard, at the 2011 Pan American Games and the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
